As a Christ-centered spiritual director, I listen to you and to the Holy Spirit. Together, we pay attention to the movements of God as you share from your life and your ongoing walk with God. Each session is a time for deep listening, prayer, and conversation, all attending to the presence and activity of God in your life.
After 22 years of military service as an enlisted Marine and then as a Navy Chaplain, Greg has worked in spiritual formation with people for more than two decades. His approach is grounded in authentic calling and spiritual depth.
Greg completed his training in spiritual direction through the Denver Seminary Spiritual Direction Graduate Certificate program.

With one ear tuned to God and the other to you, spiritual direction is a time for deep listening, prayer, and conversation all attending to the presence and activity of God in your life.

Each person is different. Your experience with me in direction and coaching will be tailored to your needs and personality.
Spiritual Direction:
We start with a check-in, and then I ask about your soul's state. After you share, often, we'll observe silence and pray before exploring what you bring to the session. I will ask you evocative, introspective questions and stay mostly quiet, providing space for your spiritual journey with occasional gentle observations.

Both. Self-awareness and being clear on what you are expecting from spiritual direction are key elements in moving forward in discernment. The more I know about who you truly are, the more effective our sessions together will be. Before our first ongoing spiritual direction session, I will ask you to complete a personality assessment and reflect on specific challenges. Our first session will focus on us getting to know one another and expectations for spiritual direction.
